Meet the Team: Solution Consultant

In today's blog, I would like to introduce you to Steve Leadbeater, one of our ERP Solution Consultants. Steve is part of our Visibility's growing UK team. Let's get to know a little bit more about Steve in his role at Vis and beyond!
Introduction
KF: Let's start by getting to know you. Introduce yourself!
SL: My name is Steve Leadbeater. I'm from the midlands in the UK where I live with family and 2 dogs. Some of my hobbies outside of work include listening to music, watching sports especially football (go Wolverhampton!) and rugby, and going on holiday. My professional background is in manufacturing businesses across all sectors including general industry, aerospace, and nuclear. I've held roles in production management, project management, and inventory management.
KF: What has your professional journey been like so far and what led you to your current role?
SL: As mentioned above I've worked in manufacturing business for my whole career across various sectors of the manufacturing industries and in various roles within the business. When it came to looking for my next role I was reflecting on how I had spent a lot of time in management positions in manufacturing and wanted to look for something different in my next role. I was interested in implementing improvements and efficiencies of processes and it was fate that brought me to my current position at Visibility where I get to do just that.
KF: What are you most excited about in your new position at Visibility?
SL: I am most excited to get in and help lots of companies improve their business processes and ERP use.
KF: What does a typical day at work look like for you?
SL: My days are a mix of training with other Visibility team members, module training for customers, and implementations. If I'm working on an implementation, this includes conducting discovery sessions, setting up data, and training users.
KF: What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone starting out in your field?
SL: Listen to people. We are here to help and we think we know what people want, but they are the ones living it day in and day out.
