Meet the Team: Director of Account Management

Today, we spotlight another member of the Visibility Team so you can get to know a little more about her outside of Vis as well as the role she currently plays at Vis and how she got here. Meet Jackie Aldrich, our Director of Account Management. She's been part of the Visibility Team since 2006. Jackie is an integral part of the Visibility Team responsible for building long-term customer relationships as well as leading our team of Account Managers so they can do the same. 

Introduction  

KF: Tell us a little about yourself outside of Vis and the ERP world. 

JA: First off, I am a proud and busy wife and mom of 3 kids (teenagers and a tween) a dog and two cats. I love spending quality time with my family and watching my kids do what they love. We love to travel! A fun fact: my husband had a work project which took my family and I to Dijon, France where we lived during 2020 and 2021. We didn’t speak French and lived in a city that didn’t speak much English. It was a super challenging time between Covid and living in a foreign country, but it was filled with so many adventures and memories for each of us. In my “free” time, I am writing a book about our experiences living in France and I love to help friends and family to plan their vacations!

KF: Describe your career path so far and how you ended up at Vis. 

JA: I started my career as a Management Consultant for a regional firm in Portland, Maine. I absolutely loved helping manufacturing companies to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies. From there, I worked for PwC in their Boston and Hartford locations doing the same great work for larger manufacturers like Stanley Tools. After my time with PwC, I was looking to join a smaller organization again where I could add value across many areas leverage the skills that I’d developed doing management consulting…that’s when I joined Visibility.

KF: Tell us about your current role at Vis. 

JA:  I joined Visibility in 2006 as an Account Manager, during my time with Visibility, I’ve had the opportunity of having roles in not only Account Management but Marketing, Development and Project Management. I love being with a smaller organization that allows me to provide value across the organization and most importantly to my clients. I enjoy seeing the success of the customer base as they leverage more and more of the Visibility application as their organizations grow and change over time.

KF: What else would you like to share about your career in the ERP world? 

JA: In my current role as Director of Account Management, I work directly with clients, but also with my Account Managers to help define a process that helps us to best understand our clients, their needs and how we can best support our customers.
