Meet the Team: Director of Solution Engineering

In today's blog, I would like to introduce you to Jackie Lynch, our Director of Solution Engineering. Jackie is one of the newest members of the Visibility Team as she came onboard this past spring. Let's get to know a little bit more about Jackie in her role at Vis and beyond!
Introduction
KF: Let's start by getting to know you. Introduce yourself!
JL: My name is Jackie, and I live in Southern NH with my husband, 10-month-old son, and 2 cats. As a former college athlete, I love all things fitness. While my soccer playing days are over, I stay active by taking Pilates, Boxing, and Strength Training classes at my local studios. I even taught indoor cycling at one point (which can also be considered a DJing gig 😊). If you ever see me with AirPods in, you can be certain I am listening to intense electronic music. At home I enjoy playing with my son, gardening, and organizing...everything.
KF: What has your career path been like?
JL: I studied Management Operations and Industrial Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In college, I loved public speaking assignments and fell into a career presenting technology solutions to various audiences through software demonstration. I found that I have a knack for bridging conversations between engineering and business level stakeholders.
Ever since then my career path has revolved around solution consulting and leadership. I started as a solution engineer, where I got to travel the world delivering demos at customer sites and industry conferences. Eventually I found a passion for mentoring others and leading teams to do the same.
KF: What is your current role at Vis?
JL: As Director of Solution Engineering, I specialize in guiding prospective customers in their ERP evaluation journey while supporting the conversation as a product specialist. I enjoy delivering tailored, in-system demonstrations to help organizations envision a future successfully running their business in Vis ERP. Something I love about my role is not only recommending best practices but also finding creative solutions for any unique customer needs and use cases.
KF: Is there anything else you'd like to share with our community of customers?
JL: What I love about working at Visibility is the dynamic nature of everyone's role. We are a small and mighty team in which everyone is open to doing what it takes to help each other out. We are solution-oriented for our customers and each other... even if that means operating beyond the bounds of one's "role description". There is plenty of opportunity for growing a career here and trying different things!
