Meet the Team: Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships

In business, you're only as strong as your team, which is why we choose to surround ourselves with the very best. We are continuing our "Meet the Team" series by highlighting our Director of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, Kassandra Burke. Read below to get to know Kassi a little better. 

Introduction  

KF: Let's start by getting to know you. Introduce yourself. 

KB: I love to travel and try new restaurants! I also regularly practice yoga and enjoy running. I really love to paddleboard and spend a lot of time at the beach in the summers. I am fascinated by astrology and always ask people what their sun sign is (Virgo here!). 

KF: What has your career path been like? 

KB: I studied marketing and public relations at Suffolk University and started as a Marketing intern at Visibility. I worked closely with our sales, operations, and account management teams to ensure that our website, collateral, and other communications accurately reflected and promoted our brand. I also helped plan Visibility events including our annual Visibility Customer Conference, employee meetings, employee social gatherings, and seasonal celebrations.

I was hired as a full time employee after graduating from college in 2020. My role at Visibility then transitioned into managing sales deals and partnerships and most recently transitioned into account management. I am excited to grow our customer base, to manage long term relationships that have been built, and to help manufacturing companies discover Visibility ERP to more easily manage their business!

KF: What is your current role at Vis? How long? What do you like about it?

KB: I am currently the Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships and have been with the company for 5 years this summer. What I love most about Vis is the family-vibe culture, co-workers, and opportunities for continued growth and learning.

KF: Anything else you'd like to highlight about your current role and/or career path?

KB: My aunt, Kelley Gonsalves, was kind enough to set me up for an interview at Visibility after learning I was studying communications in college. She thought I would be a good fit for the marketing intern role. I have had numerous other family members work for the Visibility ownership team over the years and I love that they continue to hire people recommended to them by employees, family, and customers. I think it shows they are truly aligned with their values as a family owned company. In closing, I hope to continue to grow my career here at Vis and help even more manufacturers find Visibility ERP to manage their businesses.
