1. Utilize ERP Best Practices. The new year is a great time to reinvigorate your ERP system use. Take advantage of some of the system's more advanced features such as custom reports and workflows. Has your team been relying on outside manual processes? Now would be a good time to check in and make changes. 2. Maintain and Upgrade System. Resolve to stay on top of software updates and patches this year. Staying up to date on the latest version of the system will give you access to newest capabilities and any bug fixes. If system updates are draining your IT team's capacity, consider looking into a cloud based deployment where the ERP vendor is responsible for making upgrades to the system.
3. Integrate with Partner Software. If your team is making efficient use of your ERP system, it might be time to look into add-on modules such as Business Intelligence or even integrating with partner software to enhance your use of the ERP system.
