7 Steps for Success at VCC 2024

Visibility's VCC 2024 is less than two weeks away. Attending your ERP vendor's conference requires a financial investment (registration fee & travel expenses) and a time investment on the part of the attendee and manufacturing company. We are sharing the ultimate game plan for making the most out of VCC 2024.
1. Touch Base With Your Account Manager
Connect with your account manager in the weeks leading up to the conference. Talk about goals for the conference and any pain points your organization may be experiencing with the software. Your account manager can recommend the best sessions to attend, consulting appointments to make, and people to network with.
2. Create a Personalized Itinerary
Based on your discussion with your account manager, make note of the sessions you plan to attend, the questions you want to ask in the lab, any one-on-one consulting appointments you made, and any customers and/or ERP consultants you’d like to network with during the event. This way you will be sure not to miss out on anything!
3. Network, Network, Network
Networking is one of the top benefits of attending an ERP conference. Customers can learn so much from other customers. Connect with as many other customers and ERP vendor employees as you can during the event. If you are lost as to who you might have something in common with, reach out to one of the ERP vendor employees – they can connect you with the right people.
4. Spend Time With Sponsors
We have four great sponsors joining us at VCC 2024. The sponsors will be leading presentations and available to answer questions in our Attendee Lounge throughout the event. Be sure to pencil time to attend their sessions or speak with them in the Lounge to learn more about their exciting offerings that complement Visibility ERP.
5. Document Your Experience
Document every aspect of your experience so you don’t forget what you learned and so you can bring something tangible home with you to help other team members from your manufacturing business that did not get the opportunity to attend. Be sure to take note of things such as: what you learned in educational sessions; new features, products, modules, etc. that you want to take advantage of; customers that you connected with and might want to reach out to in the future.
6. Follow-Up
When you return home after an ERP conference, don’t put your notes away and forget about your experience – follow up on everything! This could mean connecting with a fellow customer about a unique way they utilize the system, reaching out to your account manager to learn about investing in more consulting or add-on module, or sharing your documentation with fellow team members who were not able to attend.
7. Leave Time for Fun
Of course you are attending VCC 2024 for work, but if your schedule allows leave a little time for fun! As part of VCC 2024, we have some fabulous social events mixed in - including a Welcome Reception at the hotel, a Thursday Evening Event at TopGolf Scottsdale as well as delicious breakfasts and lunches to keep you fueled at VCC 2024.
The Doubletree Paradise Valley also offers many great amenities that we encourage you to take advantage of if you have the time, including breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain, two sparkling pools, a fitness center, on-site dining, and easy access to the Fashion Square Mall and Old Town Scottsdale.
