You may have seen information about this in your email over the past week, but starting this week, our Visibility US headquarters began operating out of a new office space in Beverly, Massachusetts. Learn about Visibility ERP on the move below.
More About Our New Home
While we will miss our unique converted mill space in North Andover, our new facility in Beverly will give us a more modern look and feel and most importantly, more space for our growing team. We are thrilled that our new space will offer private gym space and a child care room for parents as we continue to attract new talent. We are still putting the finishing touches on the new space, but check out some photos below:
Just north of Boston, Beverly is centrally located near a major highway and along a commuter rail train line that takes you into downtown Boston. Our new campus offers our employees access to many more amenities, shops, and restaurants including fitness facilities, childcare centers, doctors’ offices, post offices, banks and much more. Downtown Beverly is just a short drive away and offers some of the best dining and shopping on the North Shore of Boston.
Like our previous space in North Andover, our space is Beverly is also deeply rooted in the manufacturing industry. The space we are now occupying was once the workplace for 4,500 employees of United Shoe Machinery Corporation (USMC). United Shoe was a US based manufacturer of various industrial machinery, particularly for the shoe manufacturing industry. During WWI, the Interbellum era, WWII, and the Cold War era, USMC was an important government defense contractor as it developed and manufactured various land and aircraft armaments. Through a series of mergers, USMC is now part of the Black & Decker Corporation today.
As a company who serves the manufacturing industry, Visibility ERP is proud that our new space was once a North Shore landmark that employed thousands of manufacturing workers. The space pays homage to its manufacturing legacy with many photographs and pieces of machinery left over from United Shoe displayed throughout the building. Growing Abroad Too
Speaking of growing, our team and presence in the UK is also growing. In August 2024, we opened a second UK office in Shropshire, England. With the opening of a second office in the UK, we brought another team member on board. Steve Leadbeater is excited to support and grow our UK team and customer base and work with both US and UK prospective customers and current Visibility customers. We look forward to introducing Steve to our customer community in greater detail in a coming blog.
Conclusion
We are excited for a fresh start in a new space here in the US and also thrilled to be able to expand in the UK. We hope that next time our customers are in the Boston area that they will consider coming by to visit us in our new space!
